I asked about a Coleman oven. Turns out it's Cuisinart. Experience anyone?

I've seen that at crappy tire too, no idea what it's like. But I'm thinking the uuni 2s is more fun at half the dough?

Seems to be really heavy and well made. I would love to buy a real pizza oven but that's a ton of money for a single purpose. This one has been at the Orangeville store for five years. I may make an offer.

do yourself a favor & pick up a blackstone, thing is ridiculously well engineered for that single purpose for very little doughLittle Steven said:Seems to be really heavy and well made. Norma loves to make bread. I know it can be done in a pizza oven but this would be less complex. I'm wondering if it would produce great pies with the fire below but one could get over that with spacers and a second stone?

Go for it, I recall checking it and it was well built. The uuni is too flat for regular baking.canuckland

I've been researching this for a while now: http://www.brickwoodovens.com/?gclid=CIP92LW-n9ACFVU7gQodXXQHzg I'm pretty sure once we're in our "forever" house I'm gonna build one.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

I just looked at the website, seems to me for $1500 you're in exactly the same place you already are with your eggs, a static one direction heat source with perhaps even less radiant heat, makes no sense to me. If you were looking for a first cooker & pizza/bread/baking were big ticket items on your to do list then maybe, but it just seems you're going lateral here & for a big price tag. Granted, the blackstone probably won't work for a lot of bread given its low profile cooking zone, but it'd probably work for smaller/shorter types of bread on a low setting.Little Steven said:Norma loves to make bread. That's my problem right now. We are empty nesters and will sell the house in a year or two. I don't want to put anything permanent in. Plus it would go on a raised concrete deck and I really don't want the weight of a real pizza oven on there.Jeremiah said:I've been researching this for a while now: http://www.brickwoodovens.com/?gclid=CIP92LW-n9ACFVU7gQodXXQHzg I'm pretty sure once we're in our "forever" house I'm gonna build one.

Did you get this?

If it's a question of a year or two until you sell your house, I might wait and use that cash for what you really want. Instead of dropping a fair bit of change on a stop-gap measure?#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.
