ThermaPen calibration

My ThermaPen thermometer was reading 4° high. I sent an email to the ThermaPen tech service department and Greg replied the same day with a .pdf file explaining the calibration procedure. Using ice/water and boiling water, I set the temparature reading and span of the thermometer. The procedure was easy and worked well. Good service and a good product from ThermoWorks. Thought you might like to know.

    It's good to hear that my Thermapen is backed by a company offering such good customer service.

    By the way, you posted on biggreenegg.net. Those who post on biggreenegg.com (which is perhaps the vast majority of folks here) won't see your post. However, everything posted on the .com site shows up both places. I think they're working to fix that over time. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know, in case you felt like your posts were getting ignored.

    Mike, I should have gone to .com to post since I was aware that posts here don't show up over there. I was reading on this side and didn't take time to change.
    Anyway, I wish one or the other sites had a file archive to post relevant information like the ThermaPen calibration .pdf.
