Anyone use the Thermo Works DOT? How do you like it? Thinking of picking one up to get my egg stabilized at 550ish degrees for pizza night. My digiQ DX probes will only handle upto to 450 degrees. The ones from Thermo Works will handle upto 700 degrees briefly, but will give you a constant reading at 570ish full time.

I have one. I like it to monitor the internal temp of meat, or monitor indirect pit temps for my Hasty Bake, which has a completely irrelevant hood ornament for a temp gauge. That said I see no reason not to just use the egg dial thermo for pizza temp cooking.They/Them

I have one and use it for meat temps on shorter indirect cooks when grid temp does not need to be monitored. I like it , no issues. Doubt the egg has been over 400 while using it though.

Love it! I always use it for indirect Turbo cooks, when I don't bother with the BBQ Guru DigiQ DX2. (Which is a fantastic temperature control--used it last night for ribs and it stayed on 250° like a champ for 4 or 5 hours.)
