@steelcityegger How far are you moving? I moved from Colorado to Maryland with my LBGE and had it professionally crated for the move. I'm not sure about the cost since it was paid for by my employer. The LBGE made the trip just fine but I wouldn't recommend moving it too often, especially a larger EGG. I know there are Eggheads out there who travel with their EGGs for competitions so perhaps they have additional recommendations.

Loosen the bottom band. Remove the dome and the bands in one piece. Remove the ring and firebox and you're good to go.
