So last night I looked up ticket prices, and my husband was not completely on board with this whole Eggtoberfest thing..... well, let's say he wasn't on board at all.
I told him I really wanted to go, and he proceeded to give me a list of reasons why we shouldn't.[p]I gave him the silent treatment for a couple of hours, then he brought it up, and I said that I could just go by myself.
He said something to the effect of "by yourself - are you serious?"
I just said - I don't see why not. That was the end of the discussion.[p]So today he was talking to someone on the phone that wanted him to come down and speak at a meeting or something in October, and he told the person "hold on for a second, I have to check our schedule", and turned to me and asked "so when is this Egg thing we're going to?"[p]Sweeeet!!
I can't wait to meet everyone!

I lived in Arkansas for about two years and I hated it.
Very steamy.
All I know is that if it's above 70, I am going to die, but it will be worth it!

AlaskanC,[p]That's great. While you're in town, could you work on my wife? She lets me cook all I want, but isn't as sure that the Egg is one of the best purchases we've made as I am.[p]I guess now that we have three eggs, I should ease up on her (there has not been much protest).[p]

well, i'm going on record right now as saying that i want you cooking by our little group. . .i'm hanging, for better or worse. . with the texas contingent (chubby, sandbagger, grillmeister, mollyshark, and some other deviants/drunks/debauchers - hey, i like that- the 3Ds). ...maybe you can stick a cooler full of alaskan goodies on the plane to bring with you to cook!! . . .

No Ma'am...it unfortunately coincides with my annual son-in-law camping trip to New Mexico...which also may not happen because we're currently in negotiations to purchase a new home, and may be moving at that time. I can't believe I'm doing this![p]Mike
