I love this, I've let my kids make their own pizzas but I always cook them. I need to let them try one of these cast iron deep dish style. Fantastic work the boy did there!
    Thanks @feef706,
I'm working on a set of 4 old #3 skillets for something like this.  Make up a batch, split in 4 instead of 2, and let the boys go to town.  Should be fun.

Great work all around, thanks for sharing. Cooking with family and friends is what it's all about!

  • I love it. Keep keeping him involved in cooking activities and making stuff for himself and the family.

When my son was that old I just had an abused Weber Kettle that I acquired, used, for next to nothing, but I still had my son 'help' me all the time with cooking activities.

Now that he's graduated college, he's the cook of his household. He comes over to cook on my egg and tell me about the things he makes for himself and his girlfriend. He's become so creative and such a good cook - I'd like to think it was because of my being a role model since I'm the cook of my household.

Thanks for sharing this about your son, so so cool.  :)
    It is, because of you.

Thank you, I most definitely will keep him involved .  Pasta is always fun, he loves it.  And he's more apt to try new things he has a hand in.
