Dinner for 10 in the Smoky Mountains

In the mountains with family this weekend. They said the cabin had a grill, so I brought my mini to supplement.  

Menu:  Tenderloin, Tbones, hot dogs and Salmon. 

Got here and this is the grill I have to work with.  Oh.....And I forgot my plate setter. 

At least the view is nice.

    I'm sure you will make it work. Looks like a nice spot.
    I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
    Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

    My sister is a real germaphobe and asked me about putting aluminum foil down before cooking the steaks. 

    I told her that Rockwood would get the grate well over 500 degrees and that anything that the Bears do to violate those grills overnight would be sanitized by the heat.

    @mattman3969 We're in Pigeon Forge just past Sevierville. Normally we stay close to Dollywood.

    We always stay in Townsend when we go.  Short drive to main places but nice and quiet when I just want to sit in the porch.   Either way it's a great trip.  Enjoy yourself and your family

    A little variation of fineness for everyone. Sorry. No plated pics with rolls, salad, baked potatoes, blah blah blah. 

    Roasted on the mini at 250 and then seared on the park grill.

    Say what you want.....but regardless of what you cook it on.....it just taste better in the Great Smokey Mountains. Very nice job!
