Brand New Blackstone 36 - Nashville Area - $210

If you're in the Nashville area and can pick up in Lebanon, this is a decent deal on a brand new Blackstone.
I got mine via auction on ebay for $134. If you're picking up locally, you don't pay that $87 shipping cost...just a $25 "handling fee."
The place is called Tadd Wholesale Supply and they buy overstock from Amazon and other retailers.
FWIW.
Here's a pic of me working on getting mine seasoned.

Congrats, @tikigriller
I'm looking forward to your pics.
Here's a link to the the "everything blackstone" thread. Towards the bottom of the page, someone quoted @thatgrimguy and he dropped some gems about seasoning the blacksone.

@ThrillSeeker be careful with that plastic bin on the shelf - it gets hot enough to melt plastic under there - don't ask how I know this.

I have melted many plastic things with the blackstone. Unlike the egg, 2 inches is too close for plastic bowls by the griddle.blasting said:

Congrats on the new 36" @tikigriller Have fun.
I did mine with green onions followed by a few packs of bacon. I'm not sure this is really necessary, but I suppose it couldn't hurt.
I would make sure it's oiled when you turn it on, and clean and oil it when you're done. I've messed up the seasoning twice on mine - both times was when I left it to clean and season the next day.

Nice price. If I knew I would use it more than 2 or 3 times a year, I'd be all over that.

I cannot stress the importance of "thin" coats. Otherwise, too much oil on it turns into a gummy mess and you're starting over. After you get a good base, I suggest several pounds of bacon, smashburgers, and sausage to finish it off.
Steam clean/scrap well when you're finished, and I give mine a coating on lard. I find it creates a better barrier in between cooks in the humid Indiana weather.~ John - Formerly known as ColtsFan - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

I've got the onions, mushrooms and bacon. Don't have the meat for the smash, so that's three out of four at least.
I am doing oil right now, plan to then do a couple onions until they are black, and then enough bacon to cover the grill.
Cool ok between each step....right? I seem to remember reading that somewhere but I can't find it from my phone.Just bought an Egg? Here is what you get to look forward to now:

Different use - but between an egg, a blackstone, and maybe a kettle grill - I'd say you got most things covered.Phoenix -
I have not used my gas grill since getting all the grills. We did burgers one night because it was late and they were awful compared to the egg. I am really excited to crank out some smash burgers on this thing, and make brunch on Sunday on it after putting the butt on the egg.
I have a feeling with the Blackstone, I won't even use the side burner on the gasser anymore. In time, I see it going away to be replaced with a prep table as I have no outdoor space for prep.
The new new addition added to all the clean grills.
I love the brown truck. It never delivers anything bad!!!

Now you need a cover, a bunch of spatulas, egg molds, pancake molds, a scraper, and several squirt bottles.

I actually had to move it last night. that sucker was up by the house under the window when I was doing the onions, and I touched the window...let's just say, this thing puts off some serious radiant heat!
