Joetisserie Pineapple

Tried a rotisserie Pineapple the other day. I really enjoyed it. I used Dizzy Pineapple seasoning, I cooked it direct on my Joetisserie at 350 for an hour. Next time I'm going to inject rum into it but wanted to try it without anything other than the smoke and this seasoning.
Definitely a fun cook.

I love rotisserie pineapple. I usually do brown sugar and cinnamon but I like that idea of injecting with rum. Looks great!

And this thread just pushed me that final step to getting a joetisserie.
I'm thinking soaked with rum, sprinkled with toasted coconut and drizzled with a light caramel sauce with some homemade "ice cream" made with coconut milk for a summer dessert.

Sounds like an awesome idea. I'd like to try that, we were out of ice cream when I did this or I would have. I have another Pineapple here at the house so I'll try it on the next. I'll keep you posted.Killit_and_Grillit said:And this thread just pushed me that final step to getting a joetisserie.

Very creative. It would never have occurred to me to spin a pineapple, but we love them. I keep pineapple on hand all the time, but use it in smoothies. Rum sounds like a much better idea.

@Dredger I figured you would have already tried it

@Slabotnick, I probably would have gotten around to it, so thanks for the nudge. It's been so hot here, we haven't done much besides quick burgers or steaks and the stinkin summer weather seems to be back after a few cooler days. We're planning on two birds spinning for Sunday, so fingers crossed.Large BGE
