Rib question

might be a dumb question but I'm doing some beef ribs today and just wondering if I should put them in a rib rack or just go straight onto the grate? If grate should I go back side down? Alternate sides? thanks

I use the rack for more surface space. I cook with the back side downCorpus Christi, Texas. LBGE x 2, Weber Smoky Joe, and Aussie Walk-About

I'd just throw them on the grid meat side up. No turning or flipping.
