Inside ceramics cracking....

This summer my mini max fire ring cracked, I sent in a claim with my dealer and got a replacement. When I picked up my replacement I decided to pull the trigger on a Kick Ash Basket. I decided to fire up the LBE when I got home and noticed a giant crack in the fire bowl. The following Monday I sent in a claim for a new fire bowl. I got that fire bowl about two weeks ago and now my LBE fire ring is cracked. I sent in the same pictures and copies of receipts to my dealer and and the reply I got was "i will send it in and see if they cover it". It major coincidence that they all broke around the same time but Im going to be pissed if they dont cover it. Is there any reason they wouldnt cover it?
Thanks

I wouldn't sweat it--Bruce at BGE will take care of it if your dealer doesn't. Depending on the relationship and your dealer and how the dealers are in the area I might ask him if the BGE lifetime warranties are subject to his approval.

I threw the rings away but keeping the bowl, may paint it green and plant something in it. Do you take apart and put that firebox exerytime you clean the egg? Damn

I have cracks in my mini bowl a few years. It's not even worth the hassle to get a new one, it works perfect  as long as I don't take it out and in.

No valid reason it would not get covered.

I'm sure it just rose a red flag with multiple claims back to back. I can't see a valid reason it wouldn't be covered.

Same issue here.. My large base cracked.. took over a month to get it in.. then I find out my damn ring is cracked when taking it all out. I had to replace the firebox last year too..

Havent turned in claim for the ring, my dealer is a large dealer in the Atlanta area, and you'd think they'd be quick and stuff, and that BGE would answer my emails or calls, but they are like a chinese company now. Little to no contact in my experience, and my dealer is slow to get approval, and then has to wait for a shipment for my parts to ride along.

They've filled them and haven't been too huge of a hassle, but it's a hassle none the less to deal with it.

Hope they take care of you- they should.
