Many thanks to Sir Keets and gdenby. I can get the grid, but having trouble getting the 5 inch s/s bolts but will keep trying. Thanks again.

Willie,[p]I used 4" on mine. The 4" bring the second grid to just shy of lip-level on the egg. If you don't have your heart set on 5", try the 4" using my method.[p]Also, you can also try and find SS threaded rod. this is like a giant screw without the head. I hear cutting SS with a hack-saw isn't the easiest thing though so plan on some muscle if you go this route (or perhaps the shop can cut it for ya).
