I usually use a Benzomatic propane weedburner now, but the Rutland starters always worked well for me.Weber Kettle, Weber Genesis Silver B, Medium Egg, KJ Classic (Black)

Jeez.
I usually use a torch, but I find oil-soaked paper towels as quick and perhaps, to folks uninitiated to the ways of the egg, less intimidating.
If she's into fire breathing, that might be good, too.
