I get mine at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Krogers etc...  In NC someone always has butts $.99 to $1.29 per lb.  Now beef prices is another story....
Same here...  We have some mom and pops that I buy from too.
I go to Schulers all the time!

Standard Market in Naperville, IL sells Compac Duroc Bone In as well as Ribs.
It cost more but now that I have cooked them I cannot go back.

Bone in from Restaurant Depot or Kroger if on sale
Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here.  Very Extremely Stable Genius.
  • Sam's are always good, bone in and the last time I bought a case they were 1.16 per pound.
Agree. They come in a two pack. A couple cents more when I bought mine yesterday. Currently on my Egg.

Anyone tried a berkshire butt?  I'm able to get them here for 2.29lb but haven't tried them yet.
I haven't, but given the chance I would.

Local Costco only sells Swift boneless in a 2 pack. Walmart and Albertsons sells Swift single packs. Walmart sells both Shoulders and skin on picnic butts. I think that's the only place I have seen them with the skin on.
