Challenger carts. I believe the one above is the economy model from challenger.

That's a nice looking table.BilZol said:SmokeWare has them and are running a sale right now.

Thinkin real hard for the smokeware one. I feel it would last longer outside than the wood ones. I do have a covered patio and an uncovered patio and like to move it around sometimes.-FATC1TY

If you prefer, you can order them with a SS top as well. It's a bit of an up charge, but for those who want that, it's available.

Aluminum conducts heat like CRAZY. And has no fatigue strength, so if you bend it or ding it, the bend or ding are probably permanent. Aluminum DOES oxidize, too, so you might think about some kind of finish.

Does the surface of the table get hot after a long cook?
For that matter, does it get hot enough that someone could get burnt touching the corners/sides of the table? (I'm thinking of little kids and dog...and yes, obviously the egg is right there and that is hot)

Just looked and that seems like a nice table for $550 ($600 shipped to me) for someone who doesn't want to build one or spend a grand. Real curious to hear if this is too lightweight to perform over time. Seems like it has a powder coat finish which should contain the corrosion, right?
I do like the cabinets which allow you to hide some of your gear a bit more.
Can you rest the egg right on the lower shelf as they show or would you still recommend putting it on a piece of tile?

Yes. I believe this is a Challenger table and is powder coated. The company insists that you can put the egg directly on the tables and carts. I still put them in a table nest. No need for the paver or tile.KiterTodd said:Just looked and that seems like a nice table for $550 ($600 shipped to me) for someone who doesn't want to build one or spend a grand. What is really nice about the cabinet style carts is the storage is weather proof. Rain, snow, dust, should all be held at bay by the marine style seals on the doors and drawers. They are definitely an investment, but they are really nice IMO.
