Taking Stoker Wifi on the Road

I'm going to be doing a brisket this weekend away from home and would like to use my Stoker Wifi so I can monitor things when I'm out and about on Saturday (on the boat or at the bar). I'm assuming that in order to do that I'm going to have to re-do the setup from scratch using the router at the place I'm staying (which is a little bit of a pain).
Is there a way I can take my router with me and somehow integrate it into their home network which would let me just 'plug and play' my Stoker without disrupting their network? I know I'm reaching for a minimal amount of work but I'm also thinking of having to reset everything again when I get home.
Thanks for the help.

Can be done but without getting into the setup of both routers there is no guarantee that you will have Internet access on your personal router. Connecting a cable between the LAN ports of each router will do the trick. Make sure and use the LAN ports and not the WAN ports.Medium BGE , iGrill2

You don't need to use their WiFi. The Stoker WiFi can act as its own WiFi. It's one of the boxes in the html (browser) setup where you would normally enter your WiFi name and password. I think there's a drop down menu for "host" or "client". If you choose host, it will broadcast it's own channel with a password if needed. I've done it before. When you get home, you'll have to set it all back to your home WiFi.Aledo, Texas
