Its amazing how whenever the subject of used eggs comes up everyone says they would only pay half price for an egg with no warranty, then this egg pops up for half price, and people STILL have issue.
Personally, I'm glad OP is pulling the trigger. Those who have minis tend to use the snot out of them, and I haven't heard a lot of stories of cracked fire rings, and fireboxes. I think the Mini is a solid workhorse. I've had a mini for 12-15 years and love it! The carrier makes it even better.
-
@sinc86 - my local Ace Hardware has the carriers in stock. You may be able to call around and find one nearby. Either way - congrats on the mini! I got mine brand new for $250 from a dealer going out of business - warranty and all. You're gonna love using it!Dyal_SC said:Large - Mini - Blackstone 17", 28", 36"

I'd say go for it - that's the same price I got my used mini for - and I added the mini carriers ($75 from a dealer) and haven't looked back. The mini is a searing machine and I use it at least once or twice a week, if not more.Formerly of Houston, TX - Now Located in Bastrop, TX

Interesting and point worth noting ... I wonder if it's because of the size, the limited amount of lump doesn't generate enough heat mass to crack anything, even when temp gauge is hovering around 1000F? Me no physicist but just thinking out wildgmbbs said:... and I haven't heard a lot of stories of cracked fire rings, and fireboxes...

Well Fellas! Here she is! What a deal! IMO!
$200.00 for a "used/BRAND NEW" Mini!
Note: Got the daisy wheel and cup in the back of the car. So all the nay-sayers can rest assured I got EVERYTHING for $200.00

Yeah congrats, you will love it. FWIW Seeing how it's never been used I'd go online and register it for warranty.

Bought my used mini for about the same with a nest, platesetter, and cast iron grate. It quickly became my workhorse (other is a large). Absolutely love it!!

I've been posed a similar offer. They are firm at $250. It does come w/ the heat deflector.
