Just when I had given up hope, my kick butt wife surprised me with an XL. After a couple days of reading this forum, I decided to give some baby backs a shot. The wife likes tender ribs, so tried the 3-1-1 approach. They turned out excellent and I can't wait for my next cook! Many thanks for all of the posts and advice given on previous threads. It's going to be really hard to not drift from work and read this forum all day...some pics below..

@SkinnyV...sorry to hear about your pup. We lost one around the same time. But we have two today. One old lady (9) and one old man (10). They are still going strong. Definitely something special about bulldogs!

Thanks, Guys for the comments. I had been scouring this site for a long time and finally feels good to be able to add something. Hopefully next cook this weekend. Maybe some pork butt.

Nicely done! You rocked it. The only thing that you could have done better is gone with a Vikings plate.

I love that right off the bat you said "1st egg". It took me 2 years and 200 posts to realize this was going to become a bigger problem.

Welcome to the forum friend. Gotta hand it to ya, 3-2-1 is a rookie mistake, 3-1-1 works great, I find. An you'll have a bunch of purists that only go indirect with ribs. All depends on how you like them, moist, crunchy, etc.
Anyway, learn and cook, always.
