Still working on getting beef ribs perfect, but they came out pretty good as did the baby backs. Flavor was there in the chicken, but skin didn't have great texture. Still learning. Wife has claimed and taken over the MM. Complained how much she liked it last night. Think she might have an eye on one of my L's now.

Funny about the wife....I've had my BGE for over nine years and the last couple of months she's been slowly paying attention to lighting and how the cooks go, etc....that's a lot of food....LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Thanks everyone. We did overdo it, but had a lot of fun, even with the passing rain.
Wife roasted the peppers to add to some she already did before. She's going to make green chili, a staple around here, out of the leftovers. Kind of a throw down to my Brunswick stew. Think she plans on using an egg and the CI Dutch oven.Bill Denver, CO

Nicely done. I have done a few large cooks like that myself. Food looks great.

We've got a couple more planned this year, but I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving. I've been trying to get my ideas together for that. I used that as an excuse to get an XL for the turkeys.Ladeback69 said:Nicely done. I have done a few large cooks like that myself. Food looks great.
I wonder if there is an Ultimate T-Day menu out there somewhere. Pies and all.Bill Denver, CO
