Cooking Pulled Pork for a Group of 20 on Saturday

I am cooking a large pork shoulder for a tailgating activity on Satuday. We purchased a pork shoulder at Costco that weighs 15 lbs. I was planning to cook for about 12 hours at 225 deg. I have never done one this big before. Advice welcomed!

Is that a full should with the picnic or two 7.5 pound shoulders. If it is a full shoulder it won't be done in 12 hours cooking at 225. If it is two should in one pack it will be about maybe 9 to 10 at 225. I would jump it up 275, you will still get some good smoke and get it done a little faster.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

I'd bump the temp up. I do my butts at 300-325. If it's a full shoulder like mentioned above, no way it's done that soon. Much rather it be done early and FTC then have no food for the tailgate or serve shaved pork instead of pulled.~ John - Formerly known as ColtsFan - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

Update - I opened the package and it is two shoulders - may be more of a conventional smoke now!
