A ("pair of ") PS Lifter (s) !

I just wasn't real comfortable lifting the XL PS with just one lifter. Also, for me it was a little awkward and I didn't feel I had the control I wanted. Soooo, I made a prototype "pair of lifters to try out as soon as the flood recedes !!!
i have longer pieces to sandwich farther onto the PS if I feel I need to. We"lol see !
i bought several different pairs of gloves, but I hate keeping up with more than just one pair while cooking. It just wasn't as convenient as I wanted.

i just use the ash tool. it hooks perfectly into the grate for lifting. (my dealer taught me this trick)

johnmitchell. Trust me...I always wanted to be a doctor !!!
@tonyled....you're a better man than me if you can lift and move a XL PS with your ash tool !!!! I'd be afraid of breaking the weld by using it to pick up the grate....especially loaded down with a big ole ribeye !!!Donnie Dawes - RNNL8 BBQ - Carrollton, KY

Yes picking up any hot plate setter with an ash tool would be amazing. I'd like to learn how to do that.dldawes1 said:Narcoossee, FL

Very clever idea, @didawes1! I finally broke down and got the wire plate setter lifter, works well with one hand but a lot more expensive than your solution!
