I am curious to know whether any members take their BGEs on trips and whose Egg has moved the furthest, or stopped in the most cities/states since acquisition. Also, what contraptions do you use to simplify moving it around.

We go to Seaside, FL every year (this will be the 17th year)  from The middle of Texas (800 miles) and I take a Large or Mini or Mini-Max. I have found what works the best and easiest for me is to pull the guts, place cardboard between the guts and Egg. Put cardboard between the top and bottom and rock on. I use the PU for the Large.
Now the very easiest is traveling with the Mini-Max or Mini.

Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

my MM goes in the back of my Honda pilot, been on about 6 trips so far this spring/summer.  also on the floor of my RV.  I wrap it in a moving blanket and make sure I have enough "stuff" around it so tip over is unlikely. My trip a 2-5 hours. Wanted to bring it to Florida this spring but didn't work into the plans.

I've taken my large several places.  Usually just leave it in the bed of the truck and cook from there.

I have taken several eggs from Fl to NC many times, delivered a medium to the kids in IL. Our small is in motor home and has been to FL, GA, SC, TN, VA, OH, IN IL I do nothing special just put in back of Expedition or Jeep and go.

I'm only hungry when I'm awake!

I guess it's not too complicated to move them, they're just rather heavy. I really do need that MiniMax for extended trips because I don't see the XL fitting in the truck too comfortably. I'm also considering gifting one to my family in Jamaica but the cost of international shipping would likely be restrictive.

Wish my GA "Peach" had an odometer.
Some basic power tools, studs, and plywood, you could make a simple transport table.

What a beauty! What size is that and what's the chimney setup?

    Thanks.
It is a small egg with smokeware chimney cap and adapter, to fit the small egg.
