Fathers Day Breakfast and RO Lump

Fired up the KJ Jr., threw in some nice sized RO lump and flopped on a steak. Lump was pretty impressive for being about 75% of the way through the bag. Saddled the ribeye up next to some home grown eggs and got this Fathers Day off to a good start

Happy Fathers Day to all!

Nice. Opened a fresh bag of RO yesterday, huge chunks through the first half of the bag, had to break a bunch of them up.

Don't you know that this is a Green Egg forum?

Just kidding. That's a good looking breakfast no matter the cooker.

Hey it is good to see a kj jr being put thru its paces.   I almost ended up with one when bge had the new product tease release that lasted 9 mos.....

I was on the lookout for a small or minimax, but ran into a bnib deal for the Jr. on Craigslist that I couldn't pass up.

sounds like a great score @Reltserw.     I do like the kj jr a lot and honestly, had i found a costco kj roadshow near me in 2014, i wouldve removed myself from the waiting list for minimax.   It all worked out tho.

Now that is a breakfast!  I heated up left-over brisket and made eggs to go along this morning, so not bad, but that ribeye looks good!
