    BTW in that first picture posted at 9:28 that was Focker, GlitterButt and yours truly swapping untruths about who knows what that early on this morning!

    Thanks so much to the Prescott fam for hosting another top notch fest.

    A full on good grub banquet, stuffed shrooms, brie, phyllo smores, flank, planked salmon, chicken bombs, stuffed sausage balls, to name a few.

    So fortunate to have the best dealer out there, bar none.  

    A pic of the cook's swag bag, such a nice gesture.

    Brandon, you are too kind. Truth is we cannot begin to repay you and others for your generousity with your time and efforts. Thanks to you and Staci for all your help today and in the past. Truly great eggers! I missed out on the quesadillas, but the breakfast burritos were killer! You snooze you loose at these things. ✌️

    Had eggers from Peoria area @RRP and @Jeepster47. Also eggers from western suburbs, Champaign and many from the QC area. @badinfluence made the trip too! Thanks folks! Not a big fest, but a good time none the less. My buddy Brian killed it with his acoustic sets.

    Thanks for having the chief of police there today in case @Jeepster47 lived up to his downstate reputation!  =) BTW If the Chief is as good at catching crooks as he was producing tasty food off that XL today then Sterling must be one safe town! And yes Brian was a one man musical show piece and really sang and played beautifully! I went up and thanked him and he grinned from ear to ear...he was cool! Thanks again!

    Thanks @pgprescott for hosting a great fest!  Definitely worth the drive. Great food today!  Your flatiron steak was delicious. I was impressed with all of the offerings from the cooks.  Not a dish you couldn't eat until it hurts. Quite a variety. Looking forward to next year!

    I Should take a moment here to recognize our generous sponsors who contributed products for our cooks. Kick ash baskets donated a basket for the raffle as well as grate hooks for all the cooks! Thanks Chad and Tracy! We also received, from Bear Paws, a set of bear paws, a grill mat and a reference magnet for every cook! Each cook got an amaze-n 6" tube kit from Amaze-N Products!  We through in some items for the cooks and raffles. My hope is that the generosity of these vendors would be rewarded by the egg community. Thanks to you all. I'm

    Hey Pete, thanks for organizing the egg fest.  It was neat to match up a few faces with names.  Loved the background music ... it became foreground music when he sang "American Pie" ... still stuck in the 60's.  Picked up a few new ideas.  Surprised to see Ron there ... it's usually a major excursion for him to cross the Illinois River to visit the east side.

    Hope to stay longer next time ... had 460 miles to travel after leaving the fest.  Anybody who's visited the Copper Country should recognize this view:

    Washington, IL  >  Queen Creek, AZ ... Two large eggs and an adopted Mini Max

    Thanks Tom! It was a great day and a diverse group. Ron told me he has never been north of I 80, so we broadened his horizons. Glad you all could make it on FDay weekend. Maybe that rascal kid of yours can accompany you and your better half next year. 

    My buddy Brian is the bomb. I am very envious of his talent. I have none. Safe travels Tom.

    Clarification please! I meant I had never been North of 80 while driving on route 40. I traveled to Chicago no less than once a month for 17 years straight, vacationed in WI for years and years let alone traveled to Canada also for years.

    I know! - but seeing no less than several hundred of those huge wind powered generators slowly turning in the air and spread along route 40 south of US 80 way to the West and then as far as the eye can see to the East is still an impressive sight! Corn and bean fields with those mammoth sleek structures quietly and powerfully turning is still cool to me.

    I am so embarrassed!  I realize now that I kept calling you Jim on Saturday!

    Unless something comes up before then I plan to make it back to your eggfest next year as a cooker if you'll have a spare egg that needs broken in!

    I didn't even notice. It happens so often, I subconsciously overlook it. We would be honored to have you cooking next year. I have demo eggs that I can haul out if needed for overflow. It was a pleasure having such experienced eggheads on site.
