Achiote marinated turkey

 I've not posted cooks recently, not much new to add. This is one thing my wife's family does, and I haven't seen posted yet.  Achiote based adobo marinade, on turkey or a pork lion is fantastic!

The specific brand is important. We usually do a whole bird, and for that you need to get the marinade under the skin, let it sit for two days. With this breast, I'll let it sit for one day. 

Ingredients are simple, annatto paste from 'La Anita', some garlic, and jalapenos, with some juice and water to thin it as needed, should be like a thick gravy. 



Then, marinade and wait a day. More to come tomorrow!!
