Never saw either of these products just a month ago. Maybe they existed but not where I shop.

Heinz has had mustard for a loooong time.
French's is new to the ketchup game and IMHO is better.

Since Heinz manufacturing left Canada a while back they have been having trouble keeping French's on the shelf while Heinz is going on sale trying to sell.

Currently French manufactures Canadian ketchup in Ohio with Canadian Tomatoes (US Ketchup with US Tomatoes).   But soon French will also manufacture it in Toronto for the Canadian market.

No more Heinz in our household, Primo or French's only.

Is French's french?  We know Heinz is part of the family connected to our current joke of a Secretary of State, or I should say he married into it.

French's ketchup is pretty good.  It claims to not have High Fructose Corn Syrup.

1 bottle = 1 meal? That'd be a lot of fries, but I'm up for the challenge!

Disagree on the Ketchup. French's is for little kids who only know sweet as a flavor. It's cloying to me.

Sometimes I make my own "Heinz". I started when I had to start watching my sodium. Mostly, I just buy the real thing now. If interested, I think this tastes like the real thing...

    Makes 1 ½ cups

    Ingredients

    1 6oz can tomato paste

½ cup light corn syrup (Karo® has no HFCS. Can use honey instead)

    ½ cup white vinegar

    ¼ cup water

    1 Tbls sugar

1 tsp salt (I use less or none)

    ¼ tsp onion powder

    1/8 tsp garlic powder

    Directions

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until smooth.

When it comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often.

    Cover until cool, then refrigerate.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
