Need suggestion on an outdoor sink, hooked up to garden hose. Foot pedal would be nice. This is not a true outdoor kitchen. Please make suggestions or post photos of yours, as well as source. Thank you

I have kicked around this idea for a few years now. I even have a 120 volt instant hot water unit to go with it. The thing that is stopping me at this point is this.... I figure that grease will be a major part of the waste water and i have nowhere to pipe it too to get rid of it. Myself, having been in the pipe trades is very familiar with how this waste water will start to smell ( very soon ) and what it will attract. I would absolutely love to have an outdoor deep sink next to my deck , but at the end of the day , i just have no place for the waste water. :-(More meat please !! :-)

I've had an outdoor sink for a few years and love it. I wish it was a bit bigger bit that will be on my next table. I hooked the hot and cold to a garden hose and have the drain about 8 feet away. I have an occasional critter come by but that is when I have a foil drip pan that they want.

Don't know if it helps, but Sears is having a sale on their guaranteed for life craftsman rubber hoses, including the 100 footer. They have a no questions asked return policy - but the real recommendation comes because they were independently tested as having zero lead, unlike many hoses rated just for the yard. Only thing we use at the house now...

Lead in hoses would be in the coupling? Only problem with the hose is, where do you file a warranty claim when Sears has gone out of business?MaskedMarvel said:Don't know if it helps, but Sears is having a sale on their guaranteed for life craftsman rubber hoses, including the 100 footer.
