Egg and Gas combo table - Advice needed

Has anyone ever tried to do an Egg table with a gas combo beside it? My wife really wants a gas grill of some sort in order to do things quicker when I'm not around to handle the Egg. She likes the BGE and has used it but she just wants to be able to turn the knob and fire up the gas when she is doing hotdogs/burgers for the kids or anything simple like that. So, I am curious if anyone has any experience with something like this and if there is a way I can build a combo table that incorporates my LBGE in one end and either a gas grill or preferably something like a Blackstone griddle in the other end with a prep surface in between. I have looked at the "built-in" bbqs that you can buy and they are ridiculously expensive in my opinion compared to their self-standing counterpart. I'm cheap so I'm wondering what could be done to modify a cheaper stand option to sit into a table. I have a desire for an egg table but in order to keep peace I am wondering about a combo. Of course a double egg table and self standing grill that I can hide away might be another option too :) Anyone ever seen a double table or have experience modifying a gas grill to be included please give me your thoughts. Thanks.
