I am just wondering if they are worth the extra bucks

Many say yes.....like most of their products.......I think you have to decide for yourself. Only way to do so is get that credit card out. Enjoy them.Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

What's an extra $15 when you're placing a SRF order? Give it a whirl on your next order.
-
Sam's Club or Costco bulk beef Nathans or Hebrew. Or a Husker Fav Fairbury Dogs.
I still haven't done a SRF Brisket let alone a gold plated hot dog. I'm more than willing to shell out for a Gold Series Brisket. Hot Dog not so much.
Although my dog would probably say "do it"!

Call me crazy (you wouldn't be the first) but I think the key to a great hot dog is much less about the wiener and instead is much more about the bun (I love center sliced and slightly toasted), the cooking technique (have you tried the slotdog? It's amazing!) and the toppings (sometimes I just like mustard and raw onion .. other times I have to have a slaw dog)
Beautiful and lovely Villa Rica, Georgia -
I have had them (tossed in as a "bonus" on a shipment) and they are good but I would not spend the $$ on them as a stand alone buy. However, when they are a "free" order add-on I would go again. 5 to the pound, so they are huge. Mrs and I eat a lot of hot dogs, these are the best we've ever had.

Just grab a pack of Hoffmans

Koegels hot dogs are very good and the Flint water they are made with helps them stay submerged. Glaziers are very good as well. They are out of New York.

The Boars Head in natural casing are excellent also. I belive @RRP was the one who suggested these a while back. He was already responsible for raising my cholesterol with the Kerrygold butter, now its crept up a few more points eating these dogs.

For those people out east--really east--Hanneford Grocery Stores has/had natural casing dogs in the deli section. You could buy them by the lb/each. It has been a long time, but at the time I couldn't find a better one. If someone has Hanneford and the time I would love to know if they are still available. I would buy a case and have them shipped.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
