SMOBOT on my daughter's last day of school

My daughter wanted some ribs for her last day of 1st grade, and well I just had to. Went with the SMOBOT to watch my cook (wouldn't be home). The BOT did its job and the cook went very well. The family likes their ribs fall off the bone style so that's what I did. I seasoned with a mix of dizzy pig and my own "pig dust" .

The biggest plus in my mind of not having a fan.... is on a long L&S, the ash would build up over time. I always wonder how much if any ash is displaced onto the food while the fan is blasting into the firebox.
