Mini Max bundle

My situation is similar to an earlier post. What's a good price? Dealer is giving me 20 % off accessories when bought with my Mini Max. Plate setter, cast iron grill, pizza stone. He is changing me for the Ash tray and Ash tool but 20% off. Free bag of lumps and starter. What do you think about the 20%?

Yes 20%

Thats better than what dealers around here offer.
Egging year 'round in North Dakota -
Depends on price of Mini Max??? What is your dealer charging and where are you located?
I would not go over $500-$525 for MM with carry stand.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
Really, I guess I should stop wondering and go buy my 1st Egg. Thanks

Don't fret over the cost.....If you are, you are in for some pain downstream. Just jump in. You will find great value with building a relationship with your dealer.Nhsusan said:Really, I guess I should stop wondering and go buy my 1st Egg. ThanksEllijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

20% is nice but don't forget about accessories outside of the BGE name brand. You might want to look into the ceramic grill store for other types of options and setups for the MiniMax."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Southern NH $599

I was told that the dealers are NOT allowed to discount the price of the Egg.
-
-
Correct. Can I get just the MM and carrier any cheaper?
-
i couldnt get my dealer to budge on $599 which is why i went with a kj jr
-
Where are you from? There might be a Eggfest near you for a cheaper priceNhsusan said:Correct. Can I get just the MM and carrier any cheaper?"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Someone lied to you about dealers not being allowed to discount price.Nhsusan said:I was told that the dealers are NOT allowed to discount the price of the Egg.
One of our dealers were selling new Mini Max at the Eggfest for $450 and this was NOT Demo Eggs.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -

I see there is an eggfest in Lee, MA next Sat. It says it is sold out but there is a an email link to inquire about demo eggs. it might be worth a shot if the drive is reasonable. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/berkshire-eggfest-tickets-23892158088Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I work weekends so an Eggfest is not an option.
-
Soooo, can dealers discount the Egg price or not?
-
Yes, and some do. Others won't. How many other dealers around? Any competition to drop prices? How many MiniMaxes are they selling a month? Does the dealer do any store promotions? Will they price match? Etc....Nhsusan said:Soooo, can dealers discount the Egg price or not?"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. All good ideas. The dealer that I am working with is in Marlborough NH. I am heading to Maine for the weekend where I will drive past 4 other dealers. I am hoping that someone will make me a good deal.

Where in Maine. All my family is up there.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

mine sells them for 575. 20% off accessories is a good deal. Personally, I have never heard of anyone selling them for under 5. theres no way the dealer is making profit off of them at that point.LBGE circa 2016

I have a camp in York.
-
I paid $598.00 for mine. No sales tax. Got an ash tool, grate lifter, plate setter, 2 bags of BGE lump, a box of BGE fire starters, a pizza stone, and a pizza peel thrown in. Was thinking of KJ Jr but the deal was too good to pass up.
-
You got ALL that for $598? Wow. My quote was $740. Yikes, for a Mini Max.

I have. And they do profit. Maybe not 40 ptsCoul said:I have never heard of anyone selling them for under 5. theres no way the dealer is making profit off of them at that point.
But, if you move a lot of them the sales of eggcessories, rubs, sauces & extras will more than make up for the price shave on the egg. $499-$525 is fair for both parties. And I'm not talking EggFest pricing.

Just buy the damn thing. I waited months and will never get that time back. Any egg is cool to cook on. The Max is its own "Thing"....Nhsusan said:You got ALL that for $598? Wow. My quote was $740. Yikes, for a Mini Max. -
I was going to say the same thing. Just buy the damn thing. The time and experience lost from not having it will cost more than the difference in price and waiting and shopping around.yljkt said:
