So it's been raining a lot on this side of the pond, yet this evening we had a good enough window to fire up the MM and knock out some awesome rib-eyes. The roasties were done in the oven ... well, we spent a large amount of money on the kitchen before discovering the egg, better justify the expense somehow.

1. Rib-eyes at the ready

2. Sitting on the MM, searing the first side

3. First turn, some nice CI grid marks

4. Add some butter for flavour

5. Flip the rib, butter starts a fire

6. Roasties done with Dexter beef dripping and duck fat

7. The finale, served with a 2006 Ch. l'Arrossee

And now for a mild meat coma-induced sleep.
