With that much flex I'm surprised there aren't any stress cracks from heat to cool. How thick is the cooking surface on these units anyways? Is this a known issue on these? cabelas has it listed as 3/16 thick verse the 17 inch one at 1/8. theres alot more btu's on the 36

Hey @fishlessman - how has your 17 replacement top held up? Still straight? I bought one in November when Cabella's had their $69 package deal including the carry bag. I seasoned it today and and mine is warped just like your's in the first photo. With heat on it, the thing is humped like a camel. It was perfectly straight when I took it out of the box.
L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!
