The Chickens Have Landed In Buda Texas
Spring Chicken
Posts: 10,255
What was supposed to be an 'eventful drive' over turned into a 'sight-seeing' ride down some roads we've never traveled before, and won't be in the future. Some Texas roads were definitely built for the locals.
Had we stayed on the suggested route, we would have been able to drive all the way except for 2 miles at the start and 2 miles at the end on very wide and comfortable four lane roads. But they were kinda busy, so we took the low road and saw some new instead of same-ol' same-ol'
The dangerous-to-wild-and-exciting thunder storm hasn't materialized yet, at least here in Buda, Texas. And its looking more and more like tomorrow is going to be a nice day for an Eggfest.
So whatever 'sleep-late and do-nothing' plans you had made for tomorrow, cancel them and come on out to the Texas Eggfest. Trust me, you will be glad you did.
See you tomorrow.

Glad you made safe with no weather issues.
My worst road trip ever was my drive back to Galveston after leaving the Austin Eggfest 2 years ago. Heavy rain, hail, high winds and lightning like the gods were pissed. Should have spent Saturday night in Austin.
Hope your drive home is just as borring as your drive up.lolThank you,DarianGalveston Texas
