Calibrate thermometer?

Hey guys. Just picked up a Mini-Max last night and the thermometer isn't right. Quick answer? Link? Thanks.

Boil some water...stick thermometer in the boiling water. Turn nut on back of thermometer to adjust. Keep in mind that water doesn't always boil at 212*. Altitude and atmospheric conditions effect it. Where I am water boils at 209*...not that 3* difference in the dome is a big deal...I just use the dome as a reference...grate temperature is often different...

And after you adjust, re-check to make sure it's good to go. Dome thermo is the only driver all BGE's are supplied with so have confidence.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
