new floor drain grate for my small BGE

<p />Just tossing out this solution (not an original idea AT ALL) for those who don't have a BGE dealer handy or want a simple way to replace a broken ceramic fire grate. This was a 6 5/8" diameter cast iron floor drain grate I bought at a local hardware store yesterday. It replaces a similiar one I had used for nearly six years, but which finally cracked in half. Price? about $7

I have done the same thing for my large.It was cast iron from factory,in 1 1/2 years it split open.Replaced it in one day from Home Depot,not worth waiting for mother ship to replace it.

Uh...
That looks alot like a Lodge Cast Iron Trivet that goes in the bottom of a dutch oven to keep your meat from burning on the bottom of the oven. This one in the picture has little feet on the bottom and "ears" that stick out but older ones were just completely round.
