Where's the Beef ?! ( Ribs )

Anyone know where I can find some thick meaty beef ribs in Jacksonville FL ? I see pics on here of beef ribs that are just huge !! If RD has them , it must be bad timing on my part. I only find beef ribs with no more than a half inch of meat on them when i go.
More meat please !! :-)

    @NPHuskerFL will steer you straight.  And short (plate or chuck) ribs are the meatier beef ribs you see here should you have a choice.  Any beef ribs beat their pork cousins every day of the week.  ;)

    I buy my beef ribs at Restaurant Depot but I don't buy the Beef back ribs, I buy eitehr Plate Ribs or Chuck Short Ribs. Those are the ones that have been used recently by most of the people posting pictures of their cooks.  RD sells Chuck Short ribs with or without bones.  Plate ribs cost about twice as much as Chuck Short Ribs.

    Here's my go to.
    >>RD beef back, short or plate (they carry all 3 and if you call ahead they'll make sure they have them on hand).
    >>>Freshfields Farm
    >>>2-6 commercial restaurants I buy their stock
    >>>Sam's Club, Costco and BJ's are also hit and miss
    >>>Farm to table from friends
    FWIW I never have any issue finding meaty beef anything. Offer still stands as I've PMed you. Good Luck & have a good day.

    How's does one join RD. It looks pretty restricted to restaurant owners or businesses related to the food industry.

    Just to pile on, assuming you have publix in Jxville (seem to be everywhere I've been in FL) but they had some pretty meaty looking beef ribs last time I looked at them.

    Good dino ribs, back or plate ribs with lots of meat one them have been hard to find for several years in these parts. My butcher has told me if I want ribs with meat buy half a cow and he will cut them any way I want to. Most of the ribs I see cryo-vacced look skinny to me.

    There is a Restaurant Depot in Austin. Have you tried that?  The RD stores around here have pretty meaty Plate and short ribs.

    I'll make the same comment as I did for @egger ave .  Have you tried Restaurant Depot in Jacksonville?  The ones aaround here always have meaty Plate Ribs and Chuck Short Ribs.  Their beef back ribs aren't very meaty, but I prefer the others anyway.
