Reverse sear burgers??

anyone tried? If so was it good? I have some SRF meat I wanted to cook tonight and thought about smoking indirect to 145 then CI for 15-20 sec each side?? Thanks

That's how I have been cooking my SRF burgers. Cooking to 140 or 145 then searing on cast iron after resting the burgers indoors for about 10 minutes or so. Not even close to dry.
My absolute favorite burgers I've ever eaten. My wife doesn't want them any other way. It turns out being a great medium -
