I just got cyberq. Went to make ribs today. First,two hours went great. Set temp 225. Kept between 223 and 228. I will take it . Took ribs off and wrapped in foil Shaun led and temp ran up to 350 right away. The fan did not com on? Filled with a fwew time and temkept rising. So took off cyberq ant set vents the old way for 225. Temp went to 400 right away. This is with both vents almost closed. . Never had thi problem No idea what happenedany suggestions. I have done many cooks at 225 an had little troble

Agree with the above. My FlameBoss has an open lid feature...while it stops the blower you still have to hustle in getting the lid shut...

This happens with low and slow. If you have to open for more then a sec, then close the bottom damper until you close the lid again. The fan based control systems can't really cool down the egg once it gets hot.
This is another reason I don't wrap in foil. I just rotate halfway through the cook.Pittsburgh, PA - 1 LBGE
