I'm dreading to see the cost of what they want for the XL version yet I just don't see how this doesn't improve my cooks..a lot. It's a shame as I just started cooking on the MM (which is great) and struggled with that purchase over the Joetisserie. Your pics though (which some may resist admitting) show at least 'me' a marked difference in the results. Taste? I'll just have to take your word.
Nice taste in granite by the way..I've never got sick of ours and forget the name of the stone.

Thx @Eggzellent.  I love the granite too.  Reminds me of the Grand Canyon which is why we used it--think it's called verde valley..  I've always been obsessed with rotisserie so this was a natural for me.  Love the flavor and aroma.  not a rub or smoke cook and like the natural basting of rotisserie.  Basket was a great additional accessory for versatility.  I have a MM too.  This Joetisserie will be my go to.  I just love what it produces and yes, some people will resist the way I resist store made rubs and sauces and smoke.  :)

@eggnewtoy, good looking chicken once again! I am sure the flavor was outstanding. Gotta get a basket for my Joetisserie. It has kicked up my cooking for sure, we just love that thing.

Works great.  Doing wings for lunch tomorrow.  Reverse sear rib eye for dinner.

It's nice that your taste(s) run oil/S&P (only) w/o the smoke as I believe that this recipe has afforded us all a much better look at the results. Thanks again!

My pleasure.  I really prefer the salt and pepper way, although I love spice, hot spice.  Doing a reverse sear ribeyes tonight using joetisserie in the basket in the rain.  Will post.

I purchased my Joetirrerie a few weeks ago and used it for the first time yesterday to cook a simple roast chicken.  It turned out great.  However, I was surprised by the gap that existed in the front.  While the device is slanted to be narrower in the rear near the hinge, I thought the seal would be a little tighter.  There was a good 1/2" gap in the front.  I moved the device around to see if it was a question of positioning and that was not the problem.

Haven't had that issue.  Fit fine.
