@FockerThanks for the heads up the other day. I picked a couple butts up yesterday.

I really like their meat dept. Good meat and good service. I talked to the meat manager at my local Fareway and he got prime briskets for 3.99/lb.

We could definitely use some more competition. Aldi came into town and our main grocery store price dropped 10,000 items the weekend Aldi opened up. Nice to see some competition

Was that shown as Boston Butt Roast in the ad ?  I went over yesterday and got 3 of them.  But snagged a nice Brisket at Costco last night- 18 pounder @ 3.15 lb.  Wanted to buy several but no room !

man, I miss fareway. Had one 2 mins from the house when we lived in Iowa city 10 years ago. Even the pimply faced     teenagers at the meat counter knew more about their product than the guys in the stores down here do.

I just noticed this, sorry V. Like Brandon said they are 4 double vac pack bone in butts. Total price was 86.88 which is about 75 pounds of meat.

Thanks @Brisket_Fanatic That's a steal. I should jump on it for $1.16 lb. especially when it was $2.69 lb. a couple years ago

  • @WeberWho - They were 1.09 per pound in Rochester so maybe they are even less in the cities.
