I do the same thing. I find it burns cleaner and lights quicker in my minimax when I baby bird it the left overs from the large. Hahah!

i also save the last 1/3 of a bag of rockwood for the minimax. Large gets the prime parts

Only makes sense unless you want to use the sibling for a protracted cook. Sometimes I feel like a need to do a complete reload on the LBGE and the SBGE is close to full. Call in a holding bucket to play handle the reserve and all is good. FWIW-
