(Posted this on the .net forums but didn't realize no one reads them!!)[p]I'm looking for a great Green Chili Stew recipe do do on the BGE. My favorite type is the Santa Fe style with a rather clear broth and chunks of beef, potatoes, corn, and lots of Hatch. The Green Chili Stew at the Border Crossing in Norman, OK is my ultimate, but the owner won't give me the recipe!!!![p]Any help would be appreciated.

CT Grillguy,[p]I don't have access to the recipe right now, It's not in the submitted recipes. But, Chuckls posted a green chili recipe that I just made this last weekend, very good!!! I'll get to the recipe tonight and post it.
It has a lot of peppers in it, I cut back on those but I would give it a big thumbs up.[p]Scott

eggor,[p]The link to Chucks recipe is below. [p]There is a funny story and a good lesson behind the peppers. I sent Chuck a green chili recipe to check out when he was putting together a strategy for doing his contest version in which he did almost everything cooked on the Egg. Somehow, I reversed the quanity of poblanos and Anaheim peppers, which would result in much more heat. I called him on the Sunday he was cooking to report my error, but it was too late. The peppers were in the pot so to speak. All in all it turned out well and he won the office contest. I have tried his recipe and I like it too.[p]Oh....the lesson: I now really, proof read recipes I post.[p]~thirdeye~
