St Louis Ribs in Pineapple Marinade

Has anyone used a pineapple marinade on ribs?
The recipe I has is proclaimed to be the Steak and Ale marinade.
It is Pineapple juice, soy sauce, sherry.
I've tried the search feature and the database appears to be hosed.

Be careful with pineapple, as it has acids that can make your meat mushy. It can be good, but I would very careful marinating for more than 2 hours, and certainly not more than 4.
I would use (at least some of) the pineapple juice to cook down a nice glaze/sauce and you would probably benefit more from the flavor.
