First attempt at homemade bacon

The picture isn't the greatest but everyone who has tried it claims it to be the best bacon they've ever tasted. I somewhat improvised the recipe from a few different places on the web. Give it a try, it's worth it. 

Recipe:
1/4cup brown sugar
1/4cup salt
3tbls of black pepper
2tbls of pink curing salt
fresh maple syrup

Cured the pork belly for five days and then smoked it on the egg at 225 until the internal temp reached 160.
