Can anybody tell me where the serial number is the only thing I found under the lid was Mexico Comments

Look down this page for a sample ...

The number (serial number might be a little presumptuous) is in the dome, just above the felt line, at the back. Use a flashlight held parallel to the surface to add shadows to "read" it clearly.

Love the shot of your new baby inside where both of you can stay warm, but remember she isn't house broken and never will be!
BTW welcome aboard! Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
Yeah it was to cold to build her outside. I looked and shadowed the dome and still no number.

Didn't someone on the forum build an XLBGE in the house only to find they couldn't get it through the door... I think that person might have commented on this post..
.. By the way @Renegaderam nice new baby.. Greensboro North Carolina

It will go through I checked lol

Do you have a local dealer? If so, we just take care of the claims with our rep. for the customer. All we ask for is a photo of the damaged part. Never used the number once. However, if you are relocating often, or don't have a relationship with your dealer at all, it may be a good idea.

OK thanks

I filled out the warranty registration and hit send and it took it.

Some folks wonder if the "send" button isn't simply a placebo button. What happened? Did you get a receipt ... a thank you ... a phone call ... an e-mail back? Or, just a good feeling that you did what was requested of you?Renegaderam said:I filled out the warranty registration and hit send and it took it.
I'm pulling your leg ... a little ... maybe. The funny thing is that the registration info is only available to the mother ship. Your dealer can't see that it's registered. So, do save your receipt ... maybe even a digital copy. It could make warranty requests easier.

Oh yeah I got that and I have a friend where I bought it. They said I would get an email lol.

Talked to somebody in customer service and they said they have had a few of those and I am registered.

Nice looking egg! I recommend using it outside though
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Someone may not have built an XL, but they sure assembled a large in a challenger only to find out it wouldn't fit out the door!johnmitchell said:Didn't someone on the forum build an XLBGE in the house only to find they couldn't get it through the door... And the really great thing about it was no one cooked that egg while I was on vacation. Got back to a virgin egg, removed the hidden stopper from the sliding glass door, and drove the cart out onto the patio. And the young think they're so smart!
