Isn't saying 'tini' the equivalent of using emoticons?

you teed it up for me @News2u, I just swung the club

there's a bar out in SF in the Haight called aub zam zam (mostly people just call it zam zam or the zam zam room) that specializes in martinis.  they have for like 50+ years.  the owner died a while ago, but when he presided over the small bar, he was like the soup-nazi from Seinfeld, but for martinis.  if you didn't order correctly, he would invite you to visit another bar down the street.  ordering correctly meant a martini is made with gin, only gin.  there is no vodka martini, or other abominations like the apple-tini.  you also didn't tell him how much vermouth to put in - he just kind of waved the open bottle near the gin - very dry.  the whole place feels like you're on the movie set of casablanca, a real throw back.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

That's exactly how a martini is made--with gin and maybe an unsubstantiated allegation vermouth was included in the mix.

I placed an order with Firecraft last Tuesday (Five bags of Rockwood and some fire starter cubes) and they processed and shipped it the same day.

FedEx delivered the package to the wrong address on Thursday and had issues with retrieving the package.

I called Firecraft on Friday, spoke w/ their customer service department and they ACTUALLY CARED about my issue.  They got involved with FedEx and my Rockwood was delivered that night.

    I will be ordering again.

I had a hood scoop for a Camaro delivered to my house by FedX that did not belong to me .Called FedX and spoke to some jamoke about them delivering to wrong house and they should pick it up .His answer was I called wrong department ,I asked him to transfer me so they could pick it up and get it to the correct people. He said something like I had to call another number and he would not transfer me . I now have a real nice fiberglass rain shield for my generator when it rains and power goes out. Thank you FedX for having such a great staff of employees answering the phone .
  • Thanks for the heads up. I just paid 26 in Michigan. Only one place that has it near me.
