I am working on getting some good books for Q'ing..I have Bob Gibson and Smoke It Like a Pro. Very interested in more for my researching/reading pleasure. Thoughts??

Be careful and don't worship false Gods. I live in Alabama and have visited Bob Gibson's. He's a legend in his own mind.
This is my opinion only, I'm sure others will disagree.
Aaron Franklin is the real deal from what I have seen. -

I saw "Low and Slow 2" at the store yesterday and it looked pretty interesting. It included some stuff on curing. And all the recipes had versions for the BGE.Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle

Flour water Salt yeast is a great book for breads and pizza dough. Ruhlmans charcuterie is great all around.

@allsid - Haven't read your book (will have to look for it) but anyone who takes the time and effort to write has my sincere appreciation. It takes a special talent to put long held ideas or concepts to prose and make it an enjoyable read. Congrats.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Aaron Franklin's book is more of a story, but he does get into the mechanics at the end of the book.

I have a few of Ray "Dr BBQ" Lampe's that I love. Weber's big book o' grilling I have had for a decade and enjoy. Mario Batali's Italian grill has good stuff.
