Sams club deal

For everyone out there who would like to grind their own beef I saw this deal at Sams today. Before my brother got a cabelas grinder he had one of these for a few seasons that he would use to grind deer. It worked like a champ for him for a few years. At $29 is like a sore peter, you can't beat it. If I did not already own a cabelas grinder and a kitchen aid attachment grinder I would have been all over this.

I was just at Sam's Club a few hours ago. Dang it. I'll have to stop back in tomorrow.
Cheaper than the Kitchenaid grinder attachment.

Does the kitchen aid attachment work well?

I like mine for the limited grinding I do. If you planned to process a deer or two every year then it would be a pita as well as this little Waring. I'm sure my KitchenAid motor is a powerhouse compared to that Waring. My complaint is not the power of the KA, but the eventual clogging after say 5 pounds of meat.slovelad said:Does the kitchen aid attachment work well?Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
@slovelad Not bad but if your near a SAMs I would grab this. It is cheeper and is self contained.

dammit...I let my Sam's membership expire (because I have Costco and RD)...maybe I should borrow my company card and check it out.

@nolaegghead when ever we make it through the "Snotorious Big" I can stop at SAMs for you and pick it up, drop it in a usps box and send it to you.

I looked at one, i think its worth 29 bucks. Im saving for a bigger one for deer season next year.

@Firemanyz I appreciate it! Hold off for now. I'm going to try picking one up with the work card.

@milesvdustin I recommend you check out cabelas commercial grinders. They are top notch and I think they have a five year warranty. I had an issue with a knocking noise from the gear area after a few years. They replaced it with no problems.

Like @milesvdustin , I'm saving for a bigger one. How do you think the cabelas compare to the Lem big bite?
