I dent the can right under the opening, right where your thumb would be. I knew too many people who turned the tab, plus the dent somehow helps with the chugging.

i never did that in college, i just stabbed a hole in the bottom, put my mouth to it, raised it up and pulled the tab

I hear you man. Not a fan of the cold. This thing is actually pretty solid. Wife held my drink in it while I shucked oysters this weekend. :

I am telling you. For any cold weather eggers, this thing is made to order out of Vermont. As funny and ridiculous as it is, it works. And works well.

Seems to me you need to hold the been while the wife shucks oysters.....ok I am dreaming. Stay warm.
